All our cakes contain butter (dairy), gluten (wheat), and eggs, unless stated otherwise. Products containing nuts within the recipe will be explicitly listed. However, ALL our products are made in an environment that handles nuts and alcohol.

All sales made by Madeleine’s Cake Boutique are subject to the following terms and conditions. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a customer. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
The price for the order will be stated on your order form. Please ensure that all details are checked thoroughly.
All wedding cake orders require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost. Other Cakes: All other cake orders over £100.00 require a 50% deposit of the total cost. All deposits are due with the placement of the order. Orders are deemed to have been accepted only when the deposit has been paid.
The final balance is payable 28 days prior to delivery / collection, or as stated on your order form. Orders made within 28 days require non-refundable full payment upon order confirmation.
The final balance on all cake orders over £100.00 is payable on delivery/collection. Full payment for all other cakes is required upon order.

Please take the time to check your order carefully and let us know of any changes within 4 days of order confirmation. Madeleine’s Cake Boutique reserves the right to vary the quoted fee in the event that the customer requests changes to the agreed work. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate any changes, they cannot be always guaranteed.
Your orders can be collected from Madeleine’s Cake Boutique in East Sheen, south west London at a prearranged time during our opening hours or by prior arrangement outside of these hours. A signature is required upon collection confirming that you have received your order in good condition and as specified. We will provide you with the necessary assembly instructions. Extreme care should be taken during transportation. The cake must be positioned on a flat surface within your vehicle. It should not be placed on the seats. Sudden braking, sharp turns and pot holes must be avoided as practically possible. Weather conditions must also be taken into consideration. If it’s a warm day, ensure you have the air conditioning on throughout the journey.
Your order can also be delivered by prior arrangement with us. This service will incur a charge and delivery times are subject to availability although we will do our best to accommodate your requirements. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure we have the correct delivery information and that someone is available to accept the delivery. A signature, confirming receipt will be required upon delivery. If the recipient is not in, the order will be returned to Madeleine’s Cake Boutique. We will then contact you to arrange an alternative delivery or collection time. This may incur an additional charge which will be payable by the customer. Madeleine’s Cake Boutique accepts no responsibility for any loss or consequential loss incurred by the customer as a result. All other deliveries will be by courier. Once the order is signed for any compensation for damages will have to be claimed from the courier by you.
In addition to our delivery service, we are able to offer a setup service where required. The delivery and set up of our cakes is carried out by one of our skilled and professional staff. This service will incur a charge based on our daily rate. As part of this service, we will deliver and set up your cake as agreed, and ensure it is displayed at its best. Please ensure you have provided us with all relevant set up details and arrangements made with the venue for the location and display of your cake. Madeleine’s Cake Boutique will require a signature from the venue management confirming the cake has been received and set up in good condition. A photograph of the cake will be taken prior to departure by Madeleine’s Cake Boutique to verify this. Once the cake has been signed for, we are unable to accept liability for any interference with or damage to the cake thereafter. Please remember that chocolate covered or butter-creamed cakes can melt in warm conditions, such as inside a marquee or on a hot summer’s day, or when set up in direct sunlight. Cream cheese frosting will require refrigeration prior to display, and should not be kept at room temperature for more than 4 hours. Please also check with the venue that a stable, level solid table is available. You might also want to consider a cake knife being available.
We will always do our best to try and accommodate all wedding cake orders. However, we recommend giving us at least three months lead time if possible to be able to create your perfect wedding cake. If your wedding is within the summer months (May to September) we would recommend booking your cake as early as possible. For celebration cakes we recommend a lead time of at least one week.
For wedding cake orders and orders over £100, the deposit payment is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. In addition, depending on the amount of work carried out until that point, in accordance with your order, a further fee may be chargeable. For cancellations within the last 28 days before the due date, the full balance will be payable. All cancellations must be made in writing. For orders less than £100, full payment minus a £10 administration fee, will be refundable for cancellations made up to 48 hours before delivery/collection. Any cancellations made within the last 48 hours will be nonrefundable.
We are unable to accept any returns for edible goods.
Please note that no person shall have entitlement to copy, reproduce in any form, or otherwise make use of any image, photograph, design or other document or item produced by Madeleine’s Cake Boutique without prior consent of Madeleine’s Cake Boutique.
Often our designs are published in the media, for example, wedding magazines. We reserve the right to use any image of a customer’s cake made by Madeleine’s Cake Boutique for publication after the delivery date unless previously agreed in writing between the customer and Madeleine’s Cake Boutique.
Personal information is private and therefore treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality. We never make your personal details available to other third party companies for marketing purposes. We may hold your personal details in order to process your order.

The 33, 337, 493 and 969 buses stop right outside our door on the Upper Richmond Road.
