Christmas has to be one of the best times to get busy in the kitchen, so get some festive baking under your belt and turn the stress into fun in our Festive Baking Class!
We will show you how to create mouthwatering mince pies with homemade mincemeat and a tender almond pastry. You will make a French seasonal classic, Bûche de Noël (Chocolate Yule Log) - a great alternative to Christmas pudding - and some beautiful sablé biscuits to give away as gifts.
At the end of the day you will take home your finished Yule log, a dozen mince pies and a selection of festive sablé biscuits. All recipes are included, as well as some extra ideas for Christmas confections to make at home.

• making ganache for cake finishes and truffles
• creating hand-made marzipan decorations
No previous experience is needed for this class. All you need to do is bring yourself, enthusiasm and your love of cake, as all ingredients, equipment and tools will be supplied on the day. We will give you a Madeleine’s bag to carry your creations home.
Naturally there will be cake — and lots of it — to have throughout the day. There will also be a 45 minute break for lunch. We’re situated in East Sheen where you’ll find numerous cafés and places to eat.
All students are offered a 10% discount on any purchases made from our Cake Boutique during the day of class, and 10% off future classes booked on the day.
